Light a Candle
James Richard Banks Jr. had affectionately been called “Richard” by his entire family. He was born on a Saturday, December 4, 1954, in Tchula Mississippi. He proceeded in death by both his parents; James Richard Banks Sr. and Josephine Young, five of his siblings; Madeline Williams, Nathan Campbell, Virginia Young, James Banks Jr and Eugene Banks, and two of his children; Danny Earl Banks and Angela Tanetta Banks. He attended Tchula Attendance Center in Tchula, MS. Upon his completion of school. He was employed as a truck driver until he retired in 2002. His memory will always be cherished by his loving wife; Lestine B. Banks (November 15, 1997), seven sisters; Irene Grant, Lena Kennedy, Louise Tornes, Sarah Davis, Teresa Aourani, Vanessa Clay, Philisia Banks, five brothers; Samuel Banks, Lindell Davis, Otis Davis, Robert Earl Banks, Larry Roger, two daughters; Sharon Denise Cox, Victoria Brooks, two sons; Darius Harris, James Richard Banks III, 16 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
